Session Buddy Alternatives: 6 Tab Managers Compared
Session Buddy saves and restores windows of tabs, with crash recovery and a timeline of past sessions, all on your device. People look for Session Buddy alternatives when they need the library on a second machine: data stays local, and cloud storage is described as a future premium feature.
It is also a Chrome extension only, and sharing means exporting files. The tools below add sync, other browsers or a different way of saving tabs. Each summary comes from the vendor's public pages.
Why people switch
Why people leave Session Buddy
- Data stays on the device; cloud storage is described as a future premium feature.
- It is a Chrome extension only.
- A local-storage extension loses its library on uninstall unless you export first.
- Sharing is by exporting files, not from inside the product.
