TabBud Security
TabBud syncs your saved tabs to the cloud, so this page explains plainly what is stored and who can reach it. The full legal wording is in the privacy policy.
What TabBud stores
- Your account email address.
- Your region.
- The tabs you save: their URLs, titles and favicons.
- Your Space and Collection titles.
- Your notes.
If you sign in with Google, TabBud only receives your email address. It does not read your contacts, files or other Google data.
Where it is stored and how it is protected
Your data lives in a cloud-hosted database and is encrypted at the database level.
Who can see your tabs
Only you can see your Spaces by default. If you share a Space, the people you invite can view it or edit it, depending on the permission you give them. TabBud staff do not view your saved tabs or Collections unless you ask for technical support and give permission.
Data retention and deletion
You can ask for access to your data or for your account to be deleted at any time by emailing business@axar7.com. Accounts with no activity for 12 months are treated as inactive and are deleted automatically along with all stored data. You can also export your library yourself at any time, as a bookmarks file, JSON backup, CSV or Markdown; exports are generated on your own device.
Report a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue, email business@axar7.com with the steps to reproduce it. Please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before sharing it publicly.
