Released September 1, 2026.
TabBud 2.1 came a day after the 2.0 UI foundation, and it’s the first release built on it. It focuses on two parts of the sidebar: Notes and Supercharge.
A better Notes experience
Notes are TabBud’s rich-text scratchpad. They live in the sidebar next to your Spaces, sync to the cloud with the rest of your library, and are there on every new tab.
In 2.1, Notes get:
- A cleaner, more comfortable interface
- Better layout and spacing
- Smoother interactions while you write and edit
Ways to use Notes
- Daily planner: keep today’s priorities next to the tabs you need for them
- Research log: jot down what you found and which Collection it came from
- Meeting prep: write the agenda next to the client Space you’ll open in the call
Prefer a cleaner sidebar? You can hide or show the Notes section.
A better Supercharge experience
The Supercharge section in the sidebar gets the same treatment:
- A cleaner, more intuitive interface
- Improved spacing and layout
- An easier, more pleasant experience overall
Like Notes, the Supercharge section can be shown or hidden in the sidebar.
Also in 2.1
- Minor UI improvements across TabBud
- Bug fixes and stability improvements
- Small usability refinements based on user feedback
